Guest comments	Beautiful hotel, with fantastic facilities and a magical location on the still largely unspoiled and unknown Singapore-owned north coast of Bintan Island. We stayed in September, with great weather, but the hotel was perhaps a little under half full, and the beach seemed all but empty every day. Very romantic pool and beach, the food was simply divine (especially the included buffet breakfast, best I've ever had) and the service excellent. We had a great stay and will return. The main problem might be that Angsana, like all the other hotels on Bintan I expect, seems isolated. You're not encouraged to leave the resort, so you're pretty much stuck there for the length of your stay. Angsana does however encourage you to head over to the posher hotel next door, Banyan Tree, for its fine cuisine, but only because it is part of the same group. We actually prefered the food in Angsana -- and the atmosphere was certainly more relaxed. Very much recommended.
